Rachlin Foundation receives “Thank You” for Valentine donation to Children's Home Society of Florida Foundation

For the third consecutive year, the Rachlin Foundation worked with the Children’s Home Society of Florida to deliver books, backpacks, bookmarks and heartfelt wishes on Valentine’s Day to neglected, abandoned and abused children living in shelters. This year’s effort focused on three residential homes in Palm Beach County.

Among the recipients of the gifts were “Miss Teddy” and her son, “Alex,” who live in Transitions Home, a group home for teen mothers and their babies in Palm Beach County. At the home, teen mothers learn to become self-sufficient and to become good parents raising healthy families while attending school.

About the Rachlin Foundation
The Rachlin Foundation was established in 2005 as a way to support charitable organizations within the South Florida community. Team members from the firm MarcumRachlinP are actively involved in the selection of causes. They participate in a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year, offering their time and money to charities that are dear to them. MarcumRachlin matches dollar for dollar for every team member donation made. Through team members’ contributions and matching donations, the Rachlin Foundation raised more than $235,000 in 2008.
