MarcumRachlin team members take time to feed the homeless at three South Florida shelters

Twenty-six MarcumRachlin team members chose to make a difference this holiday season, taking time to feed the homeless at three South Florida shelters. At Camillus House in Miami, 12 employees volunteered, the maximum number of volunteers the shelter could accept in a single shift. Ten employees volunteered at the Cooperative Feeding Program in Broward County. The program provides counseling and support to help families who have fallen into economic hardship. In Palm Beach, four team members volunteered at The Lord’s Place, an organization that strives to give homeless families and individuals a new beginning.

“With more and more families arriving at shelters each day, the need to volunteer is greater than ever,” said Lawrence Blum, the firm’s managing partner. “It is heartwarming to see our team members take time from their day to help change lives.”
