A Child in Need - Michael Brewer
Last month, 15-year-old Broward resident Michael Brewer was the victim of a horrific crime. Intentionally set afire by a group of neighborhood bullies, Michael sustained severe burns over 80% of his body. In the coming months, Michael will undergo numerous painstaking surgeries and skin grafts.
In 2005, we established the Rachlin Foundation to support special needs in our community—needs like those of Michael Brewer, a Broward teen who could be one of our own children or the child or a relative or friend. The Rachlin Foundation supports children and families like Michael’s who might otherwise not receive the support they so desperately need. |
