	Children's Home Society of Florida www.chsfl.org Established in 1902, Children's Home Society of Florida (CHS) is one of Florida's oldest private nonprofit organizations providing services to children and families. CHS delivers a unique spectrum of social services designed to protect children at risk of abuse, neglect or abandonment; to strengthen and stabilize families; to help young people break the cycle of abuse and neglect; and to find safe, loving homes for children. Last year, CHS helped to improve the lives of more than 139,000 children and family members.

	University of Miami/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center www.sylvester.org UM/Sylvester opened as a dedicated, comprehensive cancer center in 1992 and today serves as the hub for cancer-related research, diagnosis, and treatment at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. UM/Sylvester handles more than 1,400 inpatient admissions annually, performs 3,000 surgical procedures, and treats 3,000 new cancer patients. All UM/Sylvester physicians are on the faculty of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, South Florida’s only academic medical center. 	Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation/Dan Marino Center www.mchf.org Miami Children's Hospital Foundation raises funds and awareness for Miami Children's Hospital, South Florida's only licensed specialty hospital exclusively for children. The 275-bed hospital is renowned for excellence in all aspects of pediatric medicine. Miami Children's Hospital and Miami Children's Hospital Foundation work together to ensure that no child will ever have to leave South Florida to receive the best pediatric care.

	Daily Bread Food Bank www.dailybread.org The Daily Bread Food Bank provides food and other groceries to not-for-profit organizations in South Florida, which is donated from sources ranging from retailers and wholesalers to food brokers, manufacturers and food drives. In 2005, the Rachlin Foundation donated $880 as well as hundreds of dollars worth of canned goods.

	American Red Cross www.redcross.org The Red Cross has provided disaster relief to Americans for nearly 125 years, relying on the support of the American public, hundreds of thousands of selfless volunteers and partnerships with other agencies. Last year, the Rachlin Foundation raised more than $19,000 for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts and the Tsunami relief program.

	Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County www.bbbsbroward.org/ The Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships. The Rachlin Foundation has raised $540 so far to help with this charity's effort.

	United Way of Broward County www.unitedwaybroward.org United Way of Broward County is a volunteer driven, community-based, non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of individuals and families in Broward County. United Way of Broward County unites the resources of donors, volunteers and agencies to identify and target the community’s most pressing needs and creates measurable results that have the greatest impact.

	Ocean Watch Foundation www.oceanwatch.org Ocean Watch Foundation works to preserve and protect the local coral reef communities in Southeast Florida. Last year, the Rachlin Foundation donated $350 to help their efforts.

	Salvation Army www.salvationarmyusa.org The Salvation Army has supported those in need since 1865. Nearly 33 million Americans receive assistance each year through services that provide food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children. Last year, the Rachlin Foundation sponsored a toy drive, collecting more than $500 worth of toys for the Salvation Army.

	Samantha Foundation www.thesamanthafoundation.org The Samantha Foundation's mission is to educate and instruct parents on creating a safe home environment for children. In 2005, the Rachlin Foundation raised $290 to help this organization and will be one of the sponsors of their First Annual Golf Tournament.

	Tri-County Humane Society www.tricountyhumane.org The Tri County Humane Society is a not-for-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to saving animals in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Last year, the Rachlin Foundation donated $540 to assist in their efforts.

	Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital www.jdch.com Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is the leading children's hospital in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. It is the only children's hospital in Broward and Palm Beach Counties performing cardiac catheterization and open heart surgery, and it is one of only a few hospitals in the nation minimally invasive, endoscopic surgery for cranial abnormalities. In 2005, the Rachlin Foundation donated more than $1,000 worth of toys to the hospital.

	Wheels for Kids www.wheelsforkids.org Wheels for Kids, Inc. is a nonprofit organization, founded in 2003 by Denise Jungbert in honor of her daughter, Ashlee, who has Cerebral Palsy (CP). The organization was established to provide wheelchairs to handicapped children afflicted with CP living in Palm Beach County who are financially unable to purchase them on their own and who do not qualify for public funding or other charitable sources.

	Informed Families www.informedfamilies.org Informed Families serves as an education, training and support center for parents, schools and communities to help raise safe, healthy and drug-free children.

	Kids in Distress www.kidsindistress.org Kids In Distress incorporated in 1979 as a private, non-profit agency with a goal of providing early intervention and effective prevention and treatment for young abuse victims and their families in South Florida.

	Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies (HM-HB) www.hmhbbroward.org Healthy Mothers-Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County, Inc. (HM-HB) was formed in 1987 to address a rising rate of infant mortality and a crisis in access to prenatal care. Dedicated to reducing infant mortality and improving birth outcomes, HM-HB provides access to prenatal and pediatric care, as well as health education.

	Early Learning Coalition of Broward County www.elcbroward.org The Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, works to ensure that all children enter kindergarten socially, emotionally, cognitively and behaviorally ready to learn. 	Ronald McDonald House of South Florida www.rmhcsouthflorida.org Established in 1988, Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of South Florida is a not-for profit organization dedicated to helping local children live happier, healthier and more productive lives by supporting healthcare and medical research programs, education and the arts, and civic and social programs.

	The Pet Project petprojectforpets.org The Pet Project helps people living with terminal diseases or other disabling conditions to keep their pets by providing pet care and ongoing support. Pet Project volunteers work hard to make sure the pet's needs are taken care of so the owner can relax and enjoy their beloved pet's company.

	Fairy Tails Fairy Tails provides assistance to people with animals in need of shelter and care, finds homes for abandoned and surrendered animals, and educates the community on keeping pets responsibly. The organization holds weekly adoption events and visits schools and other organizations regularly to talk about responsible pet ownership, the humane treatment of animals, and other important pet ownership issues.

	Water Angels waterangelsus.org Water Angels is a Broward County-based, non-profit agency that works to educate parents, schools and caregivers about water safety. The organization stresses that swimming lessons alone are not enough. Barriers between children and water and constant supervision of children whenever they are around water are absolutely essential to keep children safe.

	Tyler Scott Goldberg Foundation tylerscottgoldberg.com The Tyler Scott Goldberg Foundation is committed to ensuring that children receive the proper training and education before operating a personal watercraft to prevent serious injury or a fatal accident. The foundation also provides support and assistance to families coping with the difficulties encountered when a child sustains injuries from a watercraft accident.

	Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami familycounseling.org Founded in 1917, Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami is the longest serving agency in Miami-Dade County dedicated to promoting mental health and emotional wellness to children and their families. Through prevention programs, mental health counseling and support services, FCS assists more then 6,000 individuals each year, about 80% which are children.

	Communities in Schools of Miami (CIS Miami) cismiami.org Communities In Schools of Miami works with some of Miami's most challenged students. In order to assist these at risk students and their families, Communities In Schools mobilizes the community and brings existing resources into the schools – right where they are needed. CIS of Miami links schools and community resources to help kids finish school and prepare for life. Services are offered free to the students. Programs are located in grade schools, high schools and at many community sites.

	Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training teamintraining.org Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. Their mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
